Unistalling not completely uninstalling

When ever i uninstall a program, vista does not completely uninstall it. It
continues to store information so that when i try to reinstall it the old
information is still coming up and the programs are no good to me. I need a
full uninstall and a full brand new clean install.

How are you uninstalling the program(s)? The preferred method is the
uninstall provided by the maker of the program itself. Failing to find such
a feature, the next best way is in Add/Remove Programs. Is this not
working?

The uninstall information is supplied by the program at the time of the
installation. If the uninstall information is incomplete, you often can
find the program has an uninstall program on the website (Nero, Adobe flash,
etc.) and they will remove items forgotten in the original release. A
reinstall of the same versions should just overwrite the files and you could
then do an uninstall. This is especially true if you upgraded from XP.
Failing the above, you may just have to manually delete the entries in the
registry or use a registry cleaner like CCleaner. Be very careful when
using it and only delete items related to your immediate problem and make
sure that you make the suggested backup of ANY entries you delete.

Ive used their uninstaller, I have also tried using the unistaller trhough
windows vista and I have Your uninstaller 2008 which removes specific
registry keys for that specific program when it's removed.

Its not just one program, its any and all that I uninstall. It does not
remove the program fully.

Must be another Vista kink.
