Is there any way to configure Windows XP to allow different users use a
single desktop, with a shared "My documents" folder, shared profile?

Thanks.

Yes, login as each user, after it has created a profile for each, setup 1
user (let's call him user1) the way you want, logoff and login as admin then
copy the profile (User1) to the other profiles and they would look identical,
until they change it. To stop them from changing you must use the local
policy and close down all features.

So, each time a different logs in I must repeat the process?
Isn't an easiest way?

Thanks again

Yes. Let them all use the same account. Since they all have access to the
same material there is no point in creating separate accounts.

Once this is called initial setup.
