uninstalling

I have a windows vista to windows 7 upgrade disc. When i try and install it
wont install stating windows mail is incompatible. I cant find a way to
uninstall it. Can anyone help before I start crawling up the walls and
banging my head against it.
 
There should have been some additional instructions that told you
to reboot and try the Win7 install again. You don't need to
uninstall Windows Mail, nor is that even possible.
