Uninstalling XP Pro

I purchased XP Pro with intentions of installing on 2
computers. On the second install, I received message that
only one computer could be activated. The first install was
a clean install to a formatted hard drive. With only one
computer being activated, I really need the activation on
another computer. I've seen instructions for removing XP
Pro when it was upgraded from 98, ect.
Can I somehow delete XP Pro from the first computer and get
activation after install on the other?
 
You can remove XP from one computer and install on another (retail
version ).

However when installing on the other computer the automatic activation is
not likely to work. You will have to call Microsoft. The number will appear
when you try to activate
