You hav'nt mentioned what version or your operating system.

The latest version is in my Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel (
XP pro sp2 )
Reinstall your version & it should put it into Add/Remove programs in
the Control Panel.

Note: If you have version 1.1.1592.0, you must first manually uninstall
Windows Defender before you can install this newer version.

It's XP Pro w/SP2 (MCE). The program is installed but it's not listed in
the Add/Remove programs. I'm sure it's an older version so that's why I'm
asking how to uninstall it not without having it in add/remove programs.

the registry entries for AOL.

1: Click on > Clean the registry.
2: Click on OK.
3: When searching is finished, click on > Select All & choose > Select
all Green items.
4: Right click on any Green item & click on > Delete selected items.
