uninstalling old drivers for video card

Where do I go to uninstall the old drivers to the video card? I bought a new
card and it says to install the drivers before installing the card. Should I
first install the drivers and then uninstall the old drivers to the old video
card, or should I uninstall the old drivers of the old video card first then
install the new video card drivers next?

You don't have to uninstall the old drivers. Once the old card is removed
the drivers won't be accessed. After you install the software for the new
card, shut down and add the card, and then restart, Windows will detect the
card and finish installing the new driver.

Try control panel to see if there is a listing in add/remove software, or go
to Device Manager, select the display adapter, right click, then select
uninstall.

Whilst it shouldn't happen, sometimes old VGA drivers can interfere with new
VGA cards, usually if the new chipset is from the same manufacturer.

There is a good chance the new card will work without problem even with the
old drivers in place, but still for the few seconds it takes to remove old
drivers it's not worth the hassle, so just ignore the other guy.

Ok, thanks, I'll uninstall the old drivers. I thought I'd go into device
manager to do it.
The problem is the monitor was showing nothing after the boot. I checked
the RAM sticks first to see that they hadn't come unseated but that wasn't
the problem. I checked by plugging in 3 other monitors and 1 finally worked,
the Dell, but that shut down after 1 day of use too. Then I checked the old
video card and it worked in another computer. When I tried to use the onboard
video it didn't work either. So we know it's not the video card. The hard
drive or the motherboard is my two options that don't work. I replaced the
parallel cable to the hard drive and that did no good. If the onboard video
doesn't work, that seems that probably the options I just wrote of.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
