Problem with sluggish video

B

Bill W

I installed a new video card and found that videos (QuickTime and on-line)
were jerky. Uninstalled new card and reinstalled old card. Videos still
bad. Everything was okay before installing new card. Did everything as I
should - uninstalled drivers and software prior to installing new drivers
and software. Even did a restore point back to before installing new card.
Will be happy if I can get everything to perform as before installing new
card. Currently, computer is back to where it was originally with old card,
software and drivers, except now video is jerky. What can I do? Thanks

Usually that happens when you install a new video card and Windows does
a best guess at matching a driver with it.

Did you install the driver that came with it? Try downloading most
recent driver from manufacturer website?
