Uninstalling it NOW

MS Antispyware has been running on my WinXP Pro system
for three months and it is no longer useful. The first
couple of scans picked up about a dozen or so spyware and
malaware. But since then only one or two
malaware/spyware. The thing is I also run Lavasoft Free,
Ewido Free and Spybot Search And Destroy, combined they
have found and removed over sixty malaware/spyware and
trojans. And to top it off with MS Antispyware active and
protecting my system,internet Explorer got hijacked. Hey
MS you need more then bells and whistles on an
Antispyware program. As long as I've had MS Antispyware
installed the program has been activated and updated
regularly. All its modules are activated, but they don't
seem to know what there job is.

Please restart in safe mode, open Microsoft AntiSpyware, on the Scan Page,
choose Scan Options > Full System Scan > (check all boxes below) then click
"Run Scan Now". Also, which spyware programs aren't MSAS detecting? The beta
1 release of Microsoft AntiSpyware does not detect cookies, this
functionality should be available in beta 2.
