Uninstalling IE7

I've recently installed the beta from ms.com and now I really have to
uninstall it and revert back to IE6!

I've tried add/remove programs but it only reinstalls IE7 again.

I've also tried running the IE6 setup again, but it says that a newer
version is already installed.

I'm running XP and I won't be able to use rollback now as it's been
installed for a week or so already.

Does anybody have any ideas on this?

did you create a restore point before installing IE7,
i did and was able to revert back to IE6 after
a few days with IE7 using system restore

Unfortunately, I wasn't as sensible as you and didnt create the restore
point!

Any other ideas?!

go int othe add remove windows components and make sure Internet Explorer is
unchecked if it is then uncheck it click next or finish then go back to it
and check IE again it worked for me!

Windows creates a restore point by default during the install IE7.
