Reverted back to IE6 now hangs

I installed IE7 and hate it and needed to revert back ASAP. I unistalled
IE7, now IE6 is there again, but hangs/freezes when trying to open a new
URL. Frustrated also because I don't have an option to uninstall IE6 (doen't
show up in the add/remove programs) so that I can re-install it all over
again. Spending so much time on this. Anyone have this problem and be able
to fix it??? Thanks so much Tanya.

Plenty have had the same and similar problems - some say that when you
delete IE7 your system will auto-revert back to IE6.
More say that this does not happen.
