Uninstalling hearts

Guest

nI want to uninstall hearts permanently. I can go through the regular
procedures to uninstall it. However, when I do a search for the word hearts,
it keeps coming up. Then I can put it back on my desktop. I have a bad
habit of playing hearts too much, and as long as I know I can reinstall it,
I do so. I won't to rid hearts from my computer permamently. Can anyone
help.

Hi Bob Cook,

Uninstall Hearts in Control Panel, and then afterwards click on Start > Search
- in advanced options, select both hidden and system files
- search for the filename mshearts
- delete all instances found, especially those ending in an underscore.

To uninstall Hearts in Control Panel:

Click START > Control Panel
Add or Remove Programs
Add Remove Windows Components
Accessories and Utilities
[Details...]
Games
[Details...]
Uncheck Hearts
Click [OK] 3 times.

This suprisingly did not get rid of hearts. I delelted every file pertaining
to MSHEARTS, but then when you do a search, the file in the System 32 is
still there. I also went to the System 32 directly, deleted MSHEARTS, but it
will still reappear when you do a search. Thanks Jimmy for trying. Do you
have any other suggestions.
