Uninstalling / Disabling WIN 2K PRO-DVD PLAYER

Whenever I insert a DVD into my drive the DVD Player (which
is part of the OS pops up)! Anyone know how to disable it
or uninstall it? I don't see it in ADD/REMOVE prgms nor can
I find anything in any help files any place. I prefer to
use WinDVD and have to close this each time! Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need to set a default alternative program to open DVD files in control panel, folder options, file types... then the W2k DVD player will not be invoked...
