How do I uninstall a very recent wi-fi microsoft windows
update, if I don't know its number and no longer have an
internet connection because of the update?
Today (Jan 7, 2004) I downloaded the only microsoft
update I found - a wi-fi update (I had last downloaded
all other updates for Windows XP a few weeks ago) and now
I can't get access to the internet via wireless (or any
other way) at the University of Edinburgh. I can't get my
ms install history either because I don't have an
internet connection. My wireless connection here was
working fine this morning before the window's update. The
official technical support people here at Edinburgh say
they can't do anything. One dialogue box on my machine
says the radio connection is fine, but I can't get the
connection (the green bars aren't green, but white).
