Uninstalling a Dup WinXP

What steps need to be taken to drop/uninstall a duplicate
copy of Win XP. I made the mistake and installed Win XP
twice.

Hi Dianne,

Boot the system you like, open Windows Explorer and delete the system
folders for the installation you do not want.

Then, start/run C:\boot.ini and remove the reference to the system you do
not want from the [operating systems] section.

start->run->type msconfig->click on boot.ini Underoperating systems
You will see two lines that will be IDENTICAL and look something like
this: multi(0)....../fastdetect etc. Delete one of them. at bootup the
system will no longer ask which instance of XP to use
