uninstalled crucial display program?

hi. i was cleaning up some programs on my computer and i think i accidentally uninstalled a crucial display program. i don't remember the name of the file but i realized right after i did it that i thought it was the wrong one. then i restarted the computer and all the stuff is messed up. i am not able to change the display colors to past 16 colors... i don't know what i did! and i am so bad at this stuff... ugh

Sounds like you uninstalled the video driver, you can find
out a couple of ways, go to your computer manufacture and
see what type of video card it came with, another is when
you boot up your PC it should state what type of card
installed i.e. NVIDIA Gforce 4 MX440 then it boots,
another shut the PC off unpluged the power take the video
card out and see the make.

Or download Aida32, its free and gives a wealth of sys.info
