I had to format my HD due to a virus and other problems.
I installed XP but I want to install 2000 again. When the
2000 Setup starts, I get a popup that says that its an
older version than the one installed. I've tried the
Add/Remove Programs, and there is nothing in the list.

I tried booting from the w2k cd but I got a DISK BOOT
FAILURE. Any thoughts?

Get a boot diskette from www.bootdisk.com.. Install Windows 2000 (completely
wiping everything is the only way to downgrade reliably.)

I got the boot disk but still same result. I also got the
4 setup disks. However, disk #4 when "Starting Windows
Setup", it just kind of freezes. The floppy drive light is
still on but there's no activity. I formatted the disk and
downloaded onto the disk again but still the same result.
