uninstall XP - format hard drive

how do I unistall XP of format my Hard Drive? I tried
doing this in DOS and Microsoft Management, but no success.

You have to do it as part of the installation of whatever alternative
system you want. From a DOS boot you need to run FDISK and if (as seems
probable) this is NTFS delete the 'non-DOS' partition
 
What a complex rely. Just use any windows boot disk to start you
machine and type at the dos prompt "format C:
