Uninstall Windows XP + SP2

Hi

Do you mean uninstall XP completely? How did you install XP in the first
place?

Original was installed by manufacturer - I downloaded SP2. I have
original disc, but Windows won't let me install over first copy - says
it's 'newer' - I'm having problems, e.g. Sys. Recovery won't work so
want to try reinstalling system. Only Service Pack 2 is listed in
programme removals, however, and i don't know if that includes original
XP. Any thoughts please?

Hi

If SP2 is in the Add/Remove list, then you can use that for the uninstall of
SP2. However a re-install will depend on which kind of XP CD you have -
Retail or OEM. Which XP CD have you got?
