Hi, Can anyone help me please??? My old PC was running
Windows 98SE and I upgraded to XP Pro - but old PC cannot
handle. I would like to restore 98SE but nothing seems
to work - have tried 98SE recovery disc as well as 98SE
installation disc. Is there anyway I can unintall XP
Pro - have checked everywhere, but haven't had any luck
at all. Please help if you can - it's driving me crazy!!

Greetings --

The normal way to "uninstall" _any_ operating system is to format
the hard drive and install a new OS of your choice.

However, if you performed an upgrade from Win98/Me, elected to
backup the old system files, and didn't convert the partition to NTFS,
then all you need do is boot into Safe Mode and Start > Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs. All of these conditions _must_ be met for the
uninstall option to be available.
