Windows XP Uninstall issues

Has anyone had the "Add/Remove Programs" tool in the Control Panel fail?

I have selected a program to remove and nothing has happened. A Window with a progress bar flashes on the screen and then it goes away. And the program I was trying to remove remains in the list of programs still on the computer.

Has the program been deleted ?? You can check by trying to run the program . If it hasn't , try uninstalling using CC Cleaner . If it has , delete the entry using CC Cleaner .
