I followed some advice from one of the MSN troubleshoot sites that spoke of IE script errors on line 93... when I tried printing from a web page. It suggest in this order: first: delete IE temp files, I did. Second, change amount of display colors, I did. The 3rd was to go to the change/uninstall program for IE & repair IE ( I have Windows 2000) BUT there was no option for repair!! I had thought that after clicking the change/uninstall button, the Repair window opens. Didn't happen. I, of course, didn't reboot as suggested for the change/demise of IE. My first question is: Can I reverse this mistake without uninstalling IE 6 sp 1 & lose anything that's associated. I didn't backup my system yet so I can't revert to a previous saved date. I do have the emergency repair disk, however. Would this help me so I wouldn't lose any info ? Also, a couple of weeks ago, I lost the History files. The only ones that show are "By most visited" . The M-F folders only show when I go into Windows Explorer. I do use disk cleanup, but I don't think this has any bearing on History, or does it? I have & use Adaware & Spybot. Please, I almost at my wit's end. Thanks in advance.
