uninstall aol

I have just tried to switch from aol to earthlink, however, earthlink will not connect due to modem hardware failure, but when i log into aol i have no problems whatsoever. I called Dell for advice and was told to uninstall aol and reinstall earthlink. Noow when i try to uninstall the aol it runs into a problem.HOW DO I GET RID OF IT!

What is the problem you run into?

AOL should help you (as weird as that sounds..)
Just tell them you are trying to upgrade and you want to remove the old
version cleanly first and use the new CD you got at (name a store of your
choice or say "in the mail") - but you get the following:
