unexpected shutdowns

my old computer often would just shut down for no reason....and i got the
blue screen a lot. dell's answer was to restore the computer and put the
software back on. then the hard drive went and i had so many problems trying
to get different things to work. Dell just sent me a brand new updated
computer as a replacement. I've had it one week and I've had about 5
unexpected shut downs for no reason. I've read some of the posts, but I
don't see what could be causing this...unless vista isn't compatable with my
programs. I have norton 360, creative memory manager, itunes, aol. ms
office 2000...that's about it. I always use the same programs. does anybody
know if this could be a compatability problem?

Two different computers, same problem even on a NEW one... that's for
sure.
