Undesired cell outlines

I have embedded an Excel worksheet into a Word doc. The portion of the
worksheet that I want to see is smaller than the graphic object so that faint
cell outlines appear (and print) to the right of the worksheet. Is there
some way to eliminate the unused cell outlines or to completely fill the
graphic object with only the portion of the worksheet I want to appear?

Thanks

Double-click on the embedded worksheet, the select Tools > Options, and on
the View tab uncheck Gridlines.

Have you tried cropping the embedded object?
