I have been using FrontPage for many years. Today, I added a calendar page
created by HTML Calendar Maker Pro. It is added by importing the calendar
page to the root folder. I then go to the navigation view and drag the .htm
page to the navigation structure.

The May calendar worked as expected. The June calendar will not drag. I
created a dummy page. The dummy page will drag to the navigation page. I
closed FrontPage. Restarted Windows Vista Ultimate and then opened FrontPage
and tried again. Won't drag. The curser changes to a circle with a cross
hatch through it.

This isn't a problem with FrontPage it's an issue with the add-in. Have you
tried the support people for Calendar Maker Pro?

It isn't an add-in. Calendar Maker Pro is a standalone product that creates
the htm page. I have used it for the past 6 years with no problem. Importing
and then draging to the navigation chart.

I didn't make one thing clear. The May calendar was moved to the navigation
page one hour before attempting to move the Jund Calendar.

The circle-with-cross-hatch indicates that the page is already in the
navigation view.
If it isn't, then close FrontPage and open FP Cleaner (obtainable from
http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm ) and run the routines that
clear the hidden web cache files, and the hidden temporary files.
Then open FrontPage and the web, and run Tools->Recalculate Hyperlinks

See if the above helps.

Ron,

I ran the program as you said. There were no hidden web cache files, and no
hidden temporary files.

However the problem has been solved:
1. Deleted the file for the June calendar.
2. Published and removed the file from the server. Closed FrontPage.
3. Restarted the computer.
4. Opened FrontPage
5. Imported the calendar page again.
6. It wouldn't drag to the navigation.
7. Renamed the file. Drag and drop worked.
8. Published and successful.

Did you name each calendar uniquely when it was created by the app before importing into FP?

The HTML Calendar Maker Pro program automatically assigns the file names;
April-2007.htm, May-2007.htm, June-2007.htm, etc. All of the prior calendar
pages have been successful over the past 4 or 5 years. The June-2007.htm was
the first problem. I renamed it to June-2007.htm and was able to include it
in the navigation: http://www.myscacc.org/June-2007a.htm
