UNDELETE (formerly DOS)

Formerly there was an undelete command in DOS. Any advice
on how to undelete a directory now?

Or, simply open the Recyble Bin and restore the directory in question.

To do this,
1) Right-click on the Recycle Bin
2) Choose "Open"
3) Select the item you want restored
4) Click on "Restore this item" in the Folder Task pane

If your directory was deleted in the normal fashion, it will be in the
Recycle Bin. If not, it is not recoverable using Microsoft-supplied tools.
In that case, you would have to use third-party tools, such as Symantec's
"Norton System Works"
