Uncontrolled Scrolling

I have just rescently experienced a problem it seems since
the last Windows update last Friday. I have uncontolled
scrolling, it scrolls to the bottom in Outlook, IE at all
sites. I have to hold down the Ctrl key to be able to get
back up to the top of the screen.

Any suggestions?

This machine has been running Win 2000Pro for about two
years without any problems. I run virus scans every 2
days, defrag every two weeks & I'm behind a firewall.

The first thing I would look at is to see if there there is anything stuck in the down-arrow key. If not that and if you have an extra, try using a different keyboard. Those 2 things will at least narrow it down for you
