unauthorized use of my domain by others

Microsoft Outlook 2003

I am receiving numerous Postmaster and Mailer Demon notices of failures to
deliver e-mail messages that I did not send. The "mailers" are sending
e-mails using various ficticious names (i.e. (e-mail address removed),
(e-mail address removed), (e-mail address removed), etc.) at my domain.

How can I eliminate this junk mail or whatever is happening?

You can't stop anyone from using it. You basically have to filter them out
at your end of things (either at your mail server or client)

You can't stop someone from spoofing, alas. SMTP mail was designed for a
kinder, gentler time.

However, if you have a "wildcard" account set up with your
provider.....don't. Set up a single mailbox with as many aliases/forwards as
you need. Anything addressed to a non-existent address should not be
delivered. This will help a lot.
