Rule to assign account to incoming mail

I apologize for the cross-posting, but I couldn't figure out which of
these groups would be the most relevant to my question.

I have been using Outlook at work for a number of years but have used
neither it nor Express at home. Instead I have through the years used
Eudora and more recently, Pocomail. There would be many advantages for
me to move to Outlook (like a unified contact file instead of separate
address books), but there is one thing standing in my way.

I own my own domain. I have a number of email addresses that use the
same pop server for retrieval.

For example, the default pop account on my domain is
"(e-mail address removed)". For personal email, I use
"(e-mail address removed)" and for professional listservs I use
"(e-mail address removed)".

Neither "myname" nor "lists" is a separate pop account. Instead, mail
to these addresses get funneled to "postmaster" at the host level. To
send mail from these addresses, I created "main" and "lists"
email accounts in Eudora, Poco, and now Outlook 2003 which are "send
only" accounts. That part works fine.

I already know that, in Outlook, even though all replies to any of
these addresses will default to "postmaster", I can change accounts
"on the fly" when sending messages. But that's about it.

What I was able to do in both Eudora and Poco was create a incoming
filter (rule) that essentially says:

==============================
If the header of an incoming message includes "(e-mail address removed)"
then
Change the account identification to the "lists" account
EndIf
==============================

with something similar for the main account.

Although Outlook's rules can identify mail with the If condition, I
can't see anyway to assign the Then action.

I noticed that one of the actions to take in the Outlook rules is "run
a script". I was thinking maybe the solution would be a VBA script
that changed the account?

Can anyone help me, or do I have to forget about migrating (again) for
now?

No dice, huh? Too bad. I really want to make the switch. Ah well,
maybe I'll check with the next version. At some point you gotta figure
MS will pick up an email organization feature others have had for
years.
