Unattended DRIVER INSTALLATION with XP?

Can this be done? Anything special that needs to happen? No
particular device in question, just a general question!
 
It certainly can be done but really depends on how the driver is packaged.
For example if it is packaged in a Windows Installer or Install Shield
package then they have the facility to do silent installations by using
command line switches.

Hope this hopes even though it is a bit vague
 
Hopefully not via winupdate drivers
