Just recently I have been unable to download attachements in Windows mail.
When you select the file it clicks however nothing is displayed.
When I go to save the file it displays error message...
"There was an error saving one or more of the attachments. Pleas check your
free disk space and try again".
In tools/options/security - The " Dont allow attachments to be saved or
opened that could potentially be a virus " - box is not checked.

My Windows mail was running fine and opening attachements up until yesterday.
I am also running Visa Home Professional.
The anti-virus program I am using is AVG free. I have found this excellent -
I have been using it for many years with no virus's.
I decided to delete AVG (big mistake) and re-install it - BIG program. Now
the reload has timed out because it cant load a file and now I have two
problem.
I think you are on the right track - I do think it is in the virus checker!
I should have just disabled the email checker as a start.
I will keep you informed.

Help Needed

I also have the same problem. I have uninstalled Norton Antivirus, unticked
the "Don't allow attachements.."

What else can I do?

I don't see a detailed problem statement from you in this thread.
Please describe your issue. Can you save attachments and open them
outside of Windows Mail?
