Unable to view drives in Windows Explorer

Chris

When I click on Windows Explorer, or My Computer, the
computer simply searches without end for the drives. It
is more of a nuisance than anything else, anyone have
ideas?
 
Hi Chris,

Stop the WIA Service

Click Start/ Run/Services.msc
Double-click Windows Image Acquisition and Disable it
STOP the service.
Restart Windows.
