Dear all,

Things are getting weird in my Windows 2000 AS box. I can type
"c:\some_directory" in the START->RUN... box to open up a new window for
that folder, but I couldn't type "d:\another_directory" in the same RUN...
box or it prompted me that such file did not exist (but it was there!), I
was sure that not typo was made.

On the same machine I also used the "find..." box and trying to find a file
in that "d:\another_directory", it said that 0 such file were found, however
if I typed "D:\" many of those specified files were found in the
"d:\another_directory" !!

God save me!

Why may I ask are you doing this?
Backup your work and make an ERD, if you are going to play with
unknown areas.

Maybe its hidden or a systemfile.. which dont includes in the start -
run..

Hi Don,

It's just as normal as clicking it on the File Explorer, I usually open with
Win+RUN and type in the desire directory name. I see nothing that special.
But just recently after a reboot this doesn't seem to work...
