Unable to send meeting invitation

I am able to send a meeting request via Outlook 2003 on my User Account,
however my wife is unable to do so from the same computer under her User
Name. Any ideas?
 
What happens when she tries?

After furious head scratching, SK asked:

Turns out that she can send new calendar items as an invite. The
appointments we were initially trying to invite were synchronized from a
Windows Mobile Device. Those appointments that were synchronized cannot be
sent. Not sure why?
