Unable to see the Database window in Access 2003

Hello,

I have just taken over maintaining a Access database that was devloped in
Access 2000. I am not very experinced with the security features of Access,
so i am a little stuck. The Database works fine if i open it in Access 2000,
but the organisation i work for has just upgraded to 2003. When I open the
database in 2000, i log in and i am greeted with a form that has some options
one of these options is to display the database window. If i click this in
Access in 2000 sure enough the window is displayed, however in access 2003 it
came up with an error "command window unhide is not availble" So i tried
going in to 2000 and editing the code for the button, this i changed to
windowhide. It still works in access 2000, but in 2003 it just gives me a
blank access rather than showing me the database window.

I have tried pressing f11 (in 2003 this does not work, in 2000 it does )and
going into the startup options in access 2000 but anything i change does not
seem to affect the database when accesed through 2003.

Any help would be grealty appreciated,

Thanks

I think if you hold the shift key down while the database opens, unless the
previous programmer took steps to disable it, you should be able to bypass
any startup options.
