Unable to right click etc

All of a sudden I am unable to right click on anything and when I do it
flashes and disappears also noticed when I click on the start menu it
flashes and I have no access to anything, even clicking on the file, edit,
view flashes up then disappears. The computer is not used for internet so
viruses and spyware is not present
 
See if the Problem also Occurs in Safemode.Try system restore to restore
your computer to nearest good working point.
