Unable to Receive SMTP messages

Recently one of our computers stopped receiving emails. I
can send from the client, but not receive. The dialog box
for "Send/Receive" does not pop up either even though I
turned it back on so that I could watch the progress. Any
suggestions?

I found that the SP1 for Office 2003 had not been
installed and after installation the problem was resolved.

Thanks anyway. Hope this info helps someone else.
