Unable to open Pop-Ups

My internet explorer is unable to open pop ups for some odd
reason. Even right now, I'm writing in this pop up by using
netscape Can someone please help me? I'm running XP Pro
and IE 6. I tried to reinstall IE but it gives me an error
half way into the installation. Does anyone know why this
is happening?

use firefox from mozilla.org ,, much more secure and
reliable.
and download spybot from safer-networking.org and
update and scan .to check for spyware problems in the
internet explorer that may be causing this problem

Hi,
Are you sure that you don't have a program running which is blocking pop-up
windows? Something like Yahoo companion, Google toolbar, a firewall,
Earthlink (or another) pop-up blocker, etc.

It might be a Java problem. See Java information at:

I found your post yesterday when i was looking for the
solution to the same problem. it worked for me.

goto control panel click add/remove programs select IE
click remove. a box opens with choices remove, repair,
cancel . click repair and then reboot when it has
finished. takes all of 2mins so simple but i didnt know
the repair option existed
