Unable to open Outlook window

When I try to start Outlook 2003 I get the message "Cannot Start Microsoft
Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The set of folders could
not be opened. The server is not available. Contact the administrator if
this condition persists.

What would cause this problem to suddenly appear and how do I fix it?

Create a new mail profile here: Control Panel->Mail Icon->Show
Profiles->New. Do not copy your old profile.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
