My system automatically downloaded this weeks patches and after they were
installed I find that Outlook 2007 won't load. I have tried safe mode, and
detect and repair and nothing works. I tried restoring to an earlier time and
that is now not working. I tried rebooting and that didn't help. Anybody have
any suggestions?

Thanks!

Any error messages?
What is logged to the Event Viewer?

I've just encountered the same error after updates this morning.

Juat a generic error but the evert id is 7001
ID: 6, Application Name: Microsoft Office Outlook, Application Version:
12.0.4017.1006, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.4017.1006. This session lasted
4 seconds with 0 seconds of active time. This session ended with a crash.

It's defently something with test 6 patches from yesterday

Try it again after applying the Technical Refresh.

Office Diagnostics should resolve the issue.

I was able to fix the problem by running diagnostics which told me I had a
conflicting installation of outlook 2003, (which I did). I removed outlook
2003 and than reran diagnostics which appeared to fix the problem. However I
have been having other problems which the crash site has indicated are fixed
with a later version. Where do I get the technical refresh. I can't find it
so far.
