unable to open attachments in emails

Whenever I click on the open button a message says Unexpected file format.
This compilation is only usable with Nero burning Rom. The attachments I'm
trying to download are just typical ones from travel agents, train timetables
etc????? I would appreciate any help with this problem. Thanks

You have to associate .eml files (I suspect that's what they are.) with
your email program. The easiest way is to right-click the file, click
Open With, "Choose Program", locate the program and select it. If it
opens correctly, do the same thing again, but this time, click the box
to "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".
