unable to open attachment - security settings do not allow this fi

When I try to open a Doc File attachment, Internet Explorer window opens, and
I then get a message "Your current security settings do not allow this file
to be downloaded.
This only happens on my laptop which runs Windows Vista Home Premium. If I
email the message to my dedesktop which runs Windows XP, the attachment opens
without any problem.

Any ideas out there please?

Tools | Options | Security
Uncheck the box "Do not allow attachments ...".

Hi Frank

I tried that, but now get a pop up "Do you want to open or save attachment".
Whatever I tick, I still get the same pop up again!
