Unable to move or delete labels

Ivor Williams

In Access 2007, I've created a form and subform using the wizard. I'm
wanting to delete or move some labels, but can't do so without moving or
deleting the associated control. This seems to be new in 2007 and I can't
get around it without creating my own control and label. Is there a
different way to do this?

The labels and controls are all anchored by default in Access 2007.

You van remove this as follows.

With the form in design mode, Drag across all the controls and labels you
wish to be seperated. On the arrange ribbon, press the remove icon ( I think
its the third or fourth from the left of the arrange ribbon). The control
anchors will then be removed allowing you to delete the labels without
deleting the controls. Also you will be able to move the controls relative to
the labels and the other controls.

I hope this helps? Does it answer your question?

Kindest regards
