Unable to login

Hello my name is Brian Langis and I have a problem
accessng my hotmail account from my home computer. I am
currently using my girlfriend's computer.
The problem is everytime I enter my e-mail address and
password nothing happen for 3 mins then its says "server
too busy" or "The page cannot be displayed". It won't let
me access my hotmail account. It been happening for about
3 days now. I can naviguate freely without problem on any
website that does not require any username or password.
Maybe my settings change or something. I think the last
thing I downloaded was one of the Windows Security Patch
Update that come in like 5 times a week.
