Unable to login to any password secure websites

I try going to my online banking website, I enter my User ID and Password and
click submit, after doing so the page just refreshes it does not go to the
next page. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling IE6 and this did not
correct the problem.
 
Check that you have scripting enabled... OR add your banking site to your
Trusted Zones (scripting enabled by default)
