Unable to log on

Our IT department pushed a bunch of OS upgrades into my
laptop this morning and after that I was not able to log
into my machine.

System accepts the username/password and I see the message
that it is applying user settings, but shortly after it
logs me off and the ctrl-alt-del screen appears again.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

Have you contacted them yet? They are your first line of defense. This may

I have contacted Dell Technical Support without any luck.
Their final answer was to reload the computer from scratch.

The bulletin that you've mentioned talks about users with
restricted access. I am trying to log in as a local
administrator.

I however can map the C drives on this machine from
another computer on the network.

Hi,

By "them" I meant your IT people.
