I am running a W2K server (all updates done) with SQL 2000 (latest SP),
IIS actively in use, Active as the LAN's DHCP server and some minor FTP
services.
A few months back the server started to hang, we initialy thought that
we had a virus (a few had buzzed the corporate network)....
Installed McAfee Ent. 8.0i and it found nothing wrong....
I finally located something of a message as follows:
Event Type: Information
Event Source: Save Dump
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1001
Date: 11/9/2005
Time: 1:16:26 AM
User: N/A
Computer: REDR4W2K
Description:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was:
0x000000d1 (0x00000003, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xf6162917). Microsoft
Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\MEMORY.DMP.
I am unable to find out any info on this particular bugcheck.....
Any direction would be helpful...
