Unable to load Profile

I have an error when trying to loginto Terminal Server.
There is an error message indicates that "Windows cannot
load the user;s profile but has logged you on with the
default profile for the system"
Fromm the event viewer, the error message is " Regloadkey
failed. Reurn Value. The system has attempted to loas or
erstired a file into the registry. But, the specified file
is not a registry file format"

Please help
