Hi

On Win 2k Professional machine, I tried to install MS Message Queuing component. I had McAfee Virus Scan and Firewall running on the machine. Suddenly, MS DTC process starts taking 100% CPU. I go to >Services and try to kill it and it wont allow as it says "starting". I try to kill it from task manager but it will not allow as it will say "Access Denied". I tried restarting machine several times and killing it but will not work. If I restart machine, MSDTC.exe starts running 100% and will not allow "Desktop" to show up - not even explorer or Control Panel will show up. So, i dont know what to do? I want some way of stopping this process and want to proceed

Please help. Thanks a lot in advance.

What happens if you disable all your Anti-virus services or uninstall you
anti-virus software?
