I hope someone can help.

Ive recently had my computer formatted, but rather then going back to
windows xp home edition i decided to try xp professional. Everything is
working fine. But when trying to install works suite 2003 it is just not
happening.

I put disk into driver but nothing happens not even an error messege. So i
go to start, run, and then type in setup ect.. but it tells me to insert disk
into driver. so i take it out and put it back but nothing.

can anyone help why is it doing this? is it because im now on windows xp pro
rather then home edition.

thanx to all

If your WORKS CD came with the computer, it may be locked to
the original OEM XP Home that came with your computer, for
instance if you had a Compaq computer with an OEM branded
Compaq WORKS CD that was tied to looking for the Compaq
Windows XP and you did a clean install of XP Pro, you may
not have some file needed for the WORKS program to install.
You may need to spend money to buy a retail WORKS Suite.

No. You can run Works on either XP Home or Professional.

It sounds like your CD drive may not be working. Does it work
with other CDs?
